We have achieved important milestones in our ongoing efforts to educate, energise and inspire our people.
We introduced organisation-wide training programmes that will help us build an even stronger team of professionals with a shared commitment to deliver value to our customers and to equip our people with skills to ensure high performance while allowing for an enriching and rewarding career at SDE.
In line with the succession-planning programme, employees who show potential are nurtured and mentored to take on key senior management positions in the future. We have also designed, using internal expertise together with a globally recognized consulting firm, and launched an Accelerated Capabilities Development Programme (ACDP) to strengthen and enhance the management skills of our project team exposing them to on-the-job and classroom based training.
The Sime Darby Business School also deploys a wide variety of training interventions to equip employees at different levels with the knowledge and skills to take on bigger responsibilities.
Providing this exposure to our employees ensures that they are always armed with up-to-date information and skills which will have a direct positive impact in their ability to contribute effectively to the success of our business.
